Rest in Peace Jake....

Friday June 12, 2015 our little 8 month old puppy gave up the fight. We had a stray dog named Biscuit show up on our porch...well me being a dog lover, I gave him food and water...well he stayed around for about a week. When Saturday which was on the sixth came around, Biscuit was acting really strange...well he messed up in our yard and moved on over to our neighbors where he passed away. Well Monday evening rolled around and we had a birthday party for my brother out front and I took the dogs with me outside. Gracie has to stay on a leash and harness mainly because  she's a German Shepard. And I didn't see a need for Jake to stay on a leash so I let him roam free (which he enjoyed)...well while he was roaming he ate Biscuits mess. He didn't start acting funny till that night and that's when he started puking and etc...well we thought it was Parvo but it wasn't because Biscuit was an older dog not a puppy... well Jake started getting dehydrated and wasn't eating so we had to start forcing him to drink water with pedialite so he wouldn't die from dehydration. WELL we got to thinking and lately in our town a lot of pet poisoning has been occurring...whoever it is has been using rat poisoning and strict 9 and mixing it with canned dog food and laying it out in the street for strays to eat...well as I said Jake ate biscuits mess and the vet said that Biscuit was most likely poisoned and that's how Jake got poisoned ...and is what strict 9 or rat poisoning does...it burns the inside of the dog's stomach and makes them bleed and within 48 hours it kills them...so we no longer have our little bundle of joy ...it's so sad because he was only 8 months old and he was just so full of life! But I know that he's not suffering any longer which I'm glad for that...It has been very hard on our family losing him but atleast we still have Gracie! And PLEASE pray that he police can get a lead on who is poisoning everyone's animals. There have been over 20 cases of animal poisoning in our town. Our town is barely 2,000 people so I'm hoping and praying that they will catch these evil people that is doing this. These girls were awesome! I ordered a grande sized frappachino  and they gave me a venti...and I hung around around at Starbucks and chatted with them for awhile!

Were home...

So early this morning at like 1:00 a.m we flew out from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and started our journey home...I so did not want to leave Arizona..Lol...which is weird because I usually like the country...well I think the city is slowly starting to have an effect on me...hahaha...which  I don't mind...I actually miss the city and all the shopping centers...lol!!! I sadly didn't get alot of pictures of the trip but my sister did so I borrowed some from her..lol! So anyways were going back in August so I will probaly take more pictures than I did this trip.
