Sad Update 2:

We took Gracie to the vet and had an ex-ray done and found out there's no more puppies ...so she only had one and it didn't live so that means no more dogs for us...*sniffle*...anyways next month she's getting spayed so hopefully after that she will have no more health problems. Right now she's grieving the loss of her puppy that died and she keeps looking for him. It's so sad to watch her grieve. Well I better go...Bye for now.

Sad Update:

Last night Gracie went into labor and after awhile gave birth to a male puppy. When he came out we knew instantly that he was stillborn. She tried to revive him. I gave him CPR and rubbed him down with a warm towel sadly nothing worked. Well we put him in a box and we are going to bury him beside Jake. So we waited for her to birth another puppy but nothing happened. Gracie's about 10 years old so that's pretty old for a Shepard. That could be why she only birthed one. Her belly still looks full so I'm wondering if one came early and the rest are going to come out within the next 8-10 hours? Some people said to wait 24 hours from the time she gave birth to the first one and then if she doesn't have any more take her to the vet. So by 10:00 p.m we will know for sure. Well I just wanted to update ya'll.

Random Post...

Hey I know it's been 4 weeks since I have posted but I have been SUPER busy! Vacation, Birthday Party's and helping some people organize their homes so ya I have had no time to blog..lol! I am gonna be posting pictures of my nanny's 100th birthday so be looking for that and don't forget to check out my other blog. Craftycountrychic.blogspot.com. I hope y'all are enjoying summer because I'm about ready for winter! I enjoy getting to swim and tan and go walking/running but it get's sooooooooo humid here in Texas and it makes it hard to stay outside long unless your in the water..lol. We did get to go down to the Frio river down in Concan,Texas where my aunt and uncle rent cabins. We had a blast down there!! We went tubing and floated like 2 hours down the river. The fun part about floating down the river is that in a lot of spots it's more like rapids...Lol...so half of the time it felt like we were going through a washing machine. Then me and my brother went swimming...which was crazy because the river was carrying us down the river...we didn't even have to try to swim! Anyway's it's been a fun summer and I'm ready for school to start! I'm finally a junior! Yayyyyyyyyyyy! Can't believe it! Well I need to go work on my other blog so I better get going. Bye!

Friday June 12, 2015 our little 8 month old puppy gave up the fight. We had a stray dog named Biscuit show up on our porch...well me being a dog lover, I gave him food and water...well he stayed around for about a week. When Saturday which was on the sixth came around, Biscuit was acting really strange...well he messed up in our yard and moved on over to our neighbors where he passed away. Well Monday evening rolled around and we had a birthday party for my brother out front and I took the dogs with me outside. Gracie has to stay on a leash and harness mainly because  she's a German Shepard. And I didn't see a need for Jake to stay on a leash so I let him roam free (which he enjoyed)...well while he was roaming he ate Biscuits mess. He didn't start acting funny till that night and that's when he started puking and etc...well we thought it was Parvo but it wasn't because Biscuit was an older dog not a puppy... well Jake started getting dehydrated and wasn't eating so we had to start forcing him to drink water with pedialite so he wouldn't die from dehydration. WELL we got to thinking and lately in our town a lot of pet poisoning has been occurring...whoever it is has been using rat poisoning and strict 9 and mixing it with canned dog food and laying it out in the street for strays to eat...well as I said Jake ate biscuits mess and the vet said that Biscuit was most likely poisoned and that's how Jake got poisoned ...and is what strict 9 or rat poisoning does...it burns the inside of the dog's stomach and makes them bleed and within 48 hours it kills them...so we no longer have our little bundle of joy ...it's so sad because he was only 8 months old and he was just so full of life! But I know that he's not suffering any longer which I'm glad for that...It has been very hard on our family losing him but atleast we still have Gracie! And PLEASE pray that he police can get a lead on who is poisoning everyone's animals. There have been over 20 cases of animal poisoning in our town. Our town is barely 2,000 people so I'm hoping and praying that they will catch these evil people that is doing this.
